Role overview
We are looking for a General Volunteer to support The Kula Foundation on an ad hoc basis with communications and storytelling. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping ideas, developing creative content, and helping charities broaden the impact of their work through thoughtful and educational storytelling.
You will support our mission by helping translate community-focused projects into clear, engaging content that raises awareness, builds understanding, and strengthens the reach of our impact.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development of social media content ideas and light content strategy
- Help draft posts, stories, and educational content aligned with our mission and values
- Contribute to simple content plans for campaigns, projects, or events
- Support the creation of draft designs or visual concepts (where relevant)
- Help turn project insights and community work into accessible, engaging stories
Who this role is for
- Someone interested in social impact, community development, or education
- Comfortable working remotely and contributing independently
- Creative, thoughtful, and aligned with charitable values
- Experience with social media, content creation, design tools, or storytelling is helpful but not essential
