About the Role
The Kula Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic and relationship-driven Volunteer Trustee to support our growing ambitions across partnerships, fundraising, and income generation. As a trustee, you will help shape the strategic direction of our charity’s financial sustainability, build meaningful collaborations, and strengthen how we present our work to potential supporters.
What You’ll Do
- Lead on identifying and cultivating partnership opportunities with organisations, community groups, and aligned networks.
- Support the development of fundraising strategies, including campaigns, events, corporate partnerships, and community giving.
- Explore and advise on income-generating opportunities, ensuring they align with our mission and charity regulations.
- Work closely with the team to improve how we communicate our work to potential donors and partners.
- Provide input at trustee meetings, contributing to long-term planning and financial resilience.
- Act as an ambassador for The Kula Foundation, building visibility and trust across sectors.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in fundraising, partnerships, income generation, or business development (charity or private sector).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A creative, proactive approach to finding new opportunities and supporting donor engagement.
- Alignment with The Kula Foundation’s mission and values.
- Willingness to engage consistently across the year as part of a small, volunteer-led organisation.
